Justice of the Peace Services for Connecticut with a Creative Flair

Greetings,
I have been a Justice of the Peace serving the state of Connecticut for over 20 years.
I am also a retired educator, a Mystic/Noank resident and have served my town of Groton as a Town Councilor, moderator of our Representative Town Meeting and as a Vice Chairperson of the Groton Board of Education.
I have performed a wide variety of ceremonies from the very traditional to the offbeat. Of the hundreds of ceremonies I have conducted I can say that no two were alike. I customize and personalize all of my ceremonies to fit the wishes of the bride and groom.

Testimonials

From the WeddingWire.com reviews dated 9/19/15- http://www.weddingwire.com/reviews/chazjp-com-noank/8230a87f9fe7efe3.html
Chaz was, at the same time, the least costly and most meaningful vendor for our wedding. The role he played in planning for our ceremony was absolutely invaluable. From our very first meeting, we couldn’t help but to adore him and respect the passion he has for the service he offers. We were told by our planner that Chaz must “believe” in the couples he marries in order to agree to perform the ceremony. He asked such thoughtful questions during our initial meeting and met with us multiple times to ensure he got to know us well and was able to perform a ceremony which truly reflected the bond we share. I cannot possibly summarize what an incredible ceremony it was. Chaz lightened the mood with his humor, tied in personal aspects from each of our lives and involved our guests in such a beautiful way. I truly feel, not only because it was my own, that it was the most thoughtful ceremony I’ve ever attended. We received so many comments on how great Chaz was throughout the evening following the ceremony. We could not be happier that we were fortunate enough to find Chaz. If you’re considering a JP in the CT area, we cannot recommend Chaz highly enough.

"Chaz,
This is very long overdue but either way we wanted to let you know just how great our ceremony was back in October at Saltwater Farm.  Our wedding was wonderful and we had many compliments, however, the most compliments were about our JP, how great the ceremony was, that it was touching, personal, romantic, unique, fun, laid back, etc....everything we were looking for and more.  Even some of our guests who are a little more religious and would likely prefer to see church weddings, gave high compliments which says a lot!  We have been to several weddings and the ceremony/JP, and although we are biased, we do agree it was the best ceremony we have ever witnessed.  We have since seen the video, which has allowed us to relive the day and our ceremony is just something we still feel like we can feel, it is just so "us" with just the right amount of laughs and seriousness.  Our apologies for the delay in this, we just wanted to make sure you knew how much our perfect ceremony has meant to us and also that it received rave reviews from many of our guests."

"Dearest Chaz:
Mike and I never had the chance to find you (I think you may have left) to sincerely thank you for the wonderful experience of you officiating at our daughter's and new son-in-law's wedding on October 10th. You have such a natural gift to pull the guests in to make them a part of this beautiful union, but yet keeping it so personal between Hillary and Michael. Your ability to combine your genuine sense of humor with the seriousness of the vows was very moving. Everyone that commented on the wedding made it a point to say how they thought you were excellent, and wonderful and fun...and Mike and I are so pleased that Hillary and Michael asked you to be the one to marry them. They could not have asked for a better person than you to be the one to stand before them and make them laugh, and coach them through the ceremony, while expressing the importance and tenderness of the moment. Both Hillary and Mike had spoken so highly of you, Chaz, and now we completely understand why. I know that Hillary and Michael think the world of you.

Thank you for all that you did for our daughter and son-in-law as well as for everyone witnessing the marriage; we feel so fortunate for having met you, you are a very special person!

All the very best to you, Chaz!" --- Cindi and Mike DeMeo
